Yr Wydffa (Snowdon) Push 2023

I'm taking on the Push for Back Up! A team of people will be pushing, pulling and carrying me (a wheelchair user) to the top of Yr Wydffa (Snowdon), Wales’ highest mountain! We are doing this to raise vital funds for Back Up who support people with spinal cord injuries. Back Up has a Mentoring Service, a Vocation Service, they teach wheelchair skills and support people whilst in hospital and in the difficult early days of spinal cord injury after they are discharged. Back Up also runs a range of courses, such as skiing, multi-activity courses, city skills, skills for independence and skills for work, to name a few. They also have a service for children and young people. As a charity, Back Up is reliant on fundraising to help people with spinal cord injuries to stay connected and to gain the skills they need to live happy, independent, fulfilled lives, and to reach their full potential.
